Refund Policy

Effective from 7 November 2026

This policy explains how changes, cancellations and refunds work for bookings made with Sheikh Travels & Tours.

1. Air tickets

• Every ticket follows the airline's fare rules. Some fares are refundable with a penalty, and some are non-refundable. We explain the rules of your fare before you book.
• Refund amount: the amount the airline refunds, after its cancellation penalty and any non-refundable taxes, minus our refund processing fee. We tell you the processing fee before you submit the refund request.
• Timing: airlines take different amounts of time to process refunds. We pay you as soon as the airline releases the money to us.
• How you are paid: by bank transfer, bKash or Nagad, or in cash at our office, against your original money receipt.
• No-show: if you miss the flight without cancelling, the airline may refund only taxes or nothing at all.

2. Date changes and reissue

A date or route change costs the airline's change fee plus any fare difference, plus our reissue service fee. We confirm the total before making the change.

3. Hotels

Hotel bookings follow the cancellation policy of the hotel and rate you booked, which we give you with the confirmation. Non-refundable rates cannot be refunded.

4. Visa services

Embassy, visa centre and government fees are not refundable once the application is submitted, whatever the decision. If you cancel before submission, contact us and we will tell you what can be returned based on the work and payments already made.

5. Umrah, Hajj and tour packages

Each package has its own cancellation terms, given to you in writing when you book. Amounts already paid for visas, flights and hotels follow the rules of those suppliers.

6. How to request a refund

Contact the office where you booked, by WhatsApp or in person, with your booking details and money receipt. We will confirm the expected refund amount in writing before we submit the request.

7. Cancellations by the airline

If the airline cancels or significantly changes your flight, you are entitled to what the airline's rules allow, which is often a free change or a full refund. We will help you claim it.
